kita menyambut kedatangan Ramadhan. Kalau di Saudi Arabia, Ramadhan disambut dengan dentuman mercun dan bunga api (ditunjukkan di AlJazeera News), kami di UK hanya menyambut dengan solat tarawih untuk mengingatkan esok 'everybody has to fast'. Rasanya itulah juga keadaanya di Malaysia. We're not celebrating as it should be. We tend to be happier to face Syawal rather than Ramadhan. It's kind of tradition in Malays community , I guess. It should be the other way around. However, it is not easy to turn around 360 degree the way we do something. Paradigm shift? Easy to say.
Today Kak Kimah check out from our house after being here for just 2 days. I envy her courage to be away from her family during this holy Ramadhan. For the sake of a scroll of Doctor of Philosophy.
